Departmental Overview / History
Our department was officially established in 2010 and admitted its first undergraduate students in 2012. We proudly celebrated our first undergraduate graduation in 2016. Furthermore, we launched our Master’s (M.Sc.) program in 2015 and our Doctoral (Ph.D.) program in 2023.
During the 2023-2024 Academic Year, a total of 243 undergraduate students are enrolled in our department. Our student body consists of 121 female and 122 male students. We are also a diverse community with 98 international students. While the majority of our domestic students come from the Aegean, Marmara, and Mediterranean regions of Türkiye, our international students represent various continents, primarily Europe, Asia, and Africa.
